I have 2 books on order, about electrosmog, and I have read about it online, but I'm still missing critical pieces.
It sounds like, from the archived messages that Stephen highlighted, that there's no guarantee that a rod in the ground would help my bedding situation -- that there could be chaotic electrical energies in the ground, that I would bring into my bed. Which meters would one use, to ascertain if this is the case? I already own a Tri-Meter, and a basic RF meter. I am confused about the different types of electrosmog and the different measuring gadgets. Finally, I'm pretty sure the Smart Meters are a major part of my problem (wireless devices), and the high density of cell phone towers here. Is it true, that these types of electrical energy would NOT be mitigated, by a grounding device on my bed? I seem to have gathered this, from the archived messages. If that is true, I don't think grounding my bed would help. Thank you for any more help, Mary |
Mary,
Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be anything that works for everybody, you can only try stuff and see how you react... But the more you read about it the more you'll understand... I think: -grounding your body probably lowers your body voltage, and/or you'll get less affected by the emf but it won't change anything on the emf that's in the air -what I meant was that by grounding to a "grounding outlet" for instance water pipes, that on these water pipes there may be some emf or dirty electricity (the water pipe becomes sth of an antenna or could be close to electricity wiring)... -a rod in the ground: I don't think there could be "chaotic electrical energies" in the ground (or am I wrong here?) but maybe if the rod is very long, it may become sth of an antenna that picks up some of the emf in the air... maybe you should post here how long your rod would have to be (to have access to the ground), other people here have a good idea whether that wouldbe okey or not... -Although there seem to be people who have good results with grounding their bed... I think it is better to ground your body directly and not your bed. Stephen,
I was referring to this quote from the archives: Keep in mind that "ground" is not what it used to be, neither via >> building >> wiring nor via terra firma. I just don't know too many people who have reported much (or any) success with grounding their beds. If there are some, speak up now! :-) Marc |
A couple of postings ago message number 18669, I posted some positive reactions from others concerning grounding...

I see... I don't know whether Shivani is right about her opinion on "terra firma", I think not because some people on this crazy planet can still ground stuff by digging a hole?! I think Bill advised me 3 months ago (sorry but I don't seem to find that post again, God knows I've searched for it!)... I think he said if you put your grounding rod 1 meter in the ground that should be fine... Let's make that 2 meters just to be sure? ;-) Grounding 4 dummies, once and for all? Please correct me what I should do exactly ;-) 1. The grounding rod cable should have certain specifics? With insulation Isuppose? We need a thick cable or not really? How thick? 2. Dig a hole of 1 meter below surface? 3. Make a hole in a 0.5 meter metal pipe? 4. Strap the grounding rod without insulation to the hole of the pipe 5. Put the pipe in the hole horizontally or vertically? and 1 meter below surface? 6. Fill the hole with "terra" and say a prayer out loud ;-) thanks! Stephen. P.S. sth = something --- In [hidden email], "lolahunt3" <marydelamer@...> wrote: > > Stephen, > > I was referring to this quote from the archives: > > Keep in mind that "ground" is not what it used to be, neither via > >> building > >> wiring nor via terra firma.
