Hi All,
I just joined this group after becoming aware of my ES the past month or two. I'm sure I was low-level ES for much longer but only became aware after purchasing a radiant ceramic heater last month. I experienced a "brain nausea", stomach nausea, brain fog, apathy/lethargy and extreme depression/hopelessness from the heater. When Istopped using it, all symptoms went away. I returned the heater. But now I am much more electrically reactive to my refrigerator, computer, tv, certain lamps, etc and I am having trouble sleeping. I have had MCS for several years. I do not have CFS/ME or FMS. I have always been very sensitive to people's energy and I also am reactive to metals. I already own boji stones, an emf-shielding hat and apron (from lessemf.com) as well as an emf-free phone. I bought all these things as precautionary measures as Iam on the computer a lot. I just received my Trifield Meter today and am horrified tofind that my entire apartment has a magnetic radiation reading between 3-4 milligauss and the floor where I was forced to sleep for many months due to my MCS has a reading much higher - between 7-10 milligauss. I walked outside and the reading stayed at about 3-4 milligauss and only dropped off to 1 when I reached the street. Scary. I haven't done much reading on the subject but I do know there are things to get for the home to help neutralize the emfs. Can anyone offer suggestions, or recommend products to help me make my home safer? Moving would be very difficult and I don't have the funds to do it now. And just how bad is 3-4 milligaus? The electric radiation is not bad - except if I hold the meter to the wall itself, then it goes up high. I tried it onall the walls and it does that on all of them. Any suggestions appreciated. Also, I live right near the beach and I am wondering if I lay on a blanket on the sand if that will help release/ground the emfs, or do Ineed my skin to touch the sand to get the benefit? Much thanks for any suggestions! Julie www.PlanetThrive.com |

I recently had bad reactions to an oil-filled radiator and also a "mica" panel heater. However, I was never sure if the reaction was due to offgassing of chemicals (which accelerate when the heat is turned on), or due to the electromagnetic radiation. In the end, I just stuck with the fan-type heater from Vornado that I was using previously. I never had a bad reaction to that, even when it was new. As for high meter readings, I never worried too much about that, and merely focused on things that were actually causing me symptoms. Things like computers, florescent lights, cellphone, cellphone transmitters, wi-fi, telephones, TV sets, etc. I also agree that there is often no need to move to a new house, as there are many things which can be done (supplements, devices, avoidance) which can improve your situation. The devices which have worked best for me are from Quantum Products and Springlife Polarity, but like all things, I need to use these in moderation or they cause their own adverse effects! Marc |

See ES UK site for details. Try turning off your electricity at night or
try to discover offending circuits (use trifeild) for me that is the lighting cuircuit which has remained off for 7 yrs, use ocassional lamps from wall plugs. Best start is to reduce all emfs in your home keep it low tech and/or keep your distance from all things electrical particularly when you are standing still/sitting for some time. Then you need to look at your work life/out of house life and adjust this as much as possible.....as for lying on beach all things natural/outdoor will bring relief, walk, cycle etc.. good luck you will find much info on the subject here and other sites, seek and you will find as they say. Keep yourself positive and in time you will get used to the complications ES puts in your way, try not to expect much from the uneffected, if you discuss or tell of your problem be mentally prepared to get little back from those who you indulge, try not to go down the evangilising/I might just save your life mate thing with all but your closest of friends if you must, you are likely to become very demoralised by the average response. Be calculated in the way you move things forward. one positive thing is that we must be saving the planet I certainly have a low electricity bill ! kind regards Paul - I have kept above brief for reasons that you have become aware, [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] |

Three to four mili gauss is quite high. If that was
my apartment I'd make it a priority to high tail out of there. Dr. Rea, and others have suggested that walking barefoot om the sand of a beach, or a lawn can be beneficial. Eli |
