new computer problem

I just purchased a used computer (a few years old) - Gateway. I am reacting to it MUCH more than my old Dell that I had. It's a more powerful machine, but I'm wondering if it is really possible that it could be affecting me so much more than my other computer? I keep the CPU about 8 ft away, as I did with the other one, and denny foiled my LCD screen (using the same screen and keyboard and mouse)...but still, I feel like my brain is so inflammed and i'm so irritable when i'm on this now.

is it possible one computer would be so different than the next? and will putting it farther away make a difference (i can't test that in this place) or should i return it?

i was using a surge protector recommended on this site, but it fried...Mark, do you recall where you suggested to get that from? meaning to get another

I'm surprised that the new computer would cause such a reaction
at 8 feet. Seems like you might want to go back to the old one...
