new YahooGroup web format

Hi all,

I don't know if everyone is seeing this, but on my end YahooGroups
just had a radical makeover.  I'm now looking at our group page
and cannot even figure out how to search the message archives:

  http://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/eSens/

Oops, bad link.  Here is the corrected link to the group's
web page:

It looks OK to me.
After you click on messages, the search box is at the top of the first message on the right.
Maybe you caught it in a moment of glitch.

Yes, but that particular search only allows you to enter in a message number.  :-)

But I found what I was looking for -- the "Search Groups" at the very top now searches
both groups and messages (previously it only searched for groups).

I still prefer the old groups (as it seemed more intelligently designed, and had more
functionality)

When I click on that link it redirects to http://groups.yahoo.com/. Then in My Groups I click on eSens and it takes me to http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/eSens/, which looks the way it always did.

Yahoo has not completely rolled out this update -- it is being rolled out
on a "by user" basis.  Which means some of us are seeing the new
interface for all of our groups, while others are still seeing the old
interface.

If we're lucky, maybe the backlash will be so great that this will
abandon this attempt to update the interface (again)

Or, as I just remembered, there is still a complete mirror of this
YahooGroup on Nabble:

And I think some might prefer the Nabble interface to the
Yahoo interface...

For those of you who have been switched over the new YahooGroups
web format and find it problematic (I personally find it unusable), there
is a Yahoo feedback forum that you can complain too, or at least
vote for the complaints that you agree with:

  http://yahoo.uservoice.com/forums/209451

If this keeps up, we may need to abandon YahooGroups... to
somewhere (perhaps Nabble, since the complete archives
are already there)
