guys,
I have working with an electrician in my house and I have found
something I thought you guys would like to know. As you may know, the
Stetzer filters seem to send the excess harmonics and dirty electricity
back on the neutral wire. My electrician has found that my house has
been wired in many places were the neutral wire was not wired correctly
and a significant magnetic field was created when I used the filters.
This may explain some of the negative results by others on this list in
using the filters.
After my electrician replaced some sockets and corrected some bad
neutral sharing situations, the magnetic fields went away and the
filters worked perfectly well.
I don't understand it completely and if you have a gauss meter, it is
easy to find. When you put the filters in, if the magnetic fields shoot
up along the wire, there is an overloaded or incorrectly shared neutral
that isn't balancing the hot wire. I had magnetic fields to begin with
along the wires and it increased with the filters so I knew there was a
problem.
There is much more to do on my house and I'm sure I'll understand it
better next week.
