Charles, please note that if the RF riding on the utility current has
hopped onto your water pipes, phone lines, etc. you will have to deal with those
exposures as well.
Does your water or phone service enter the house near where your
electrical main comes in? Or do any phone lines, water pipes or electrical conduits
approach the main?
It is good to get some filters in as close to the breaker box as
possible, to catch the RF as soon as possible after it enters the house. We had an
outlet added right by the breaker box for both the A and B lines.
But we had to deal with all the problems I just mentioned, as well.
A really sensitive electric field meter can help you play detective as
you check your place for rogue RF. Look for fields where you would not expect
them - anyplace away from the wiring itself. If you have an electric field
on your woodwork, for instance, it is very probably RF.
Do you happen to have a handheld meter that measures high frequencies?
Do you live in the USA?
Feel free to ask for help or ideas.
Regards,
Shivani
