metal rod in teeth, antenna like ?

Jean-2
Hi all,

maybe the topic has already been discussed. I'm wondering if there's a
measurable (by electronic devices) effect due to small rods in dental
prosthesis when one is in a EMF polluted environment. For my case I
know I have one prosthesis, with a metal rod inside to hold to the
root. It's about 1 centimeter long. The diameter is about 1 mm I'd
say.

Well, maybe I should do a google search...

Also it's mere curiosity, because I'm due to get rid of it.

I know that I have a stronger reaction to my computer if I'm wearing
eyeglasses that contain metal, so I suspect that a metal dental rod
(or any metal dental work -- braces, fillings, etc.) would also have
some effect.

I got the idea I would need to search for Physics 101, antenna, but I
don't have the brain any longer to do that...
