low levels of ozon

Hello,

I am thinking of an aircleaner. But I have latent asthma. A device which
may be interesting mentions in its description that it will emit low levels of
ozon which may become a problem for people with respiratory tract
diseases.
Does anybody know the problem?

My opinion is that low levels of ozone probably should, if anything,
HELP asthma. However, I do not have asthma, so I am not speaking
from experience. I have however bought a lot of air purifiers,
and some of the ones I've liked the best emit ozone.
