internal shielding for computers

ayre
There's someone down in Florida who says he can shield a computer or laptop internally with mu-metal to reduce or eliminate electromagnetic fields.  Has anyone heard of this?  I talked with someone in Philadelphia who says he doesn't know that it will be helpful, but he does know the guy who does the work and says he is NOT a charlatan.  Apparently they went to grad school together.  The cost is $250.   I will probably try it, but I wanted to know if anyone else has gone this route.

Yes, I've heard of that, but I can't recall if anyone here has ever actually tried it.
I tend to seek out electronics that don't need to be shielded in the first place,
and/or use EMF protection devices that can be placed next to things or on my person.

Sure, Mu-metal shields magnetic fields.
But it must be done in such a way that no openings are there.
Mu metal is very expensive.

But it does not shield the biological active longitudinal waves.
For that, tehre is this Aaronia A2000 glass fibre fabric.
See the images I mentioned earlier.
I placed it around my computer case, and electrosensitives claim that it works.
