Hi,
I'm working all next week in Leeds, England running a training course, so I
need to stay on peak form all week.
I'll be near the city centre all day and I'm looking for somewhere to
retreat to that's microwave free for sleeping and recuperating overnight.
I've been offered a nearby city hotel, but I'd prefer to use the money to
get out of town. I'll have my car with me so I can drive well out of town
into the dales etc.
I'm just wondering if anyone knows the area and could recommend anything or
a good area?
So far I'm considering:
a) A farmhouse/country B&B where either they don't have a DECT phone
or they have an annex well away from it (or are prepared to turn it off!)
(and not too close to WiFi base either)
b) A country hotel with a room well away from reception (where they are
very likely to have DECT phones/WiFi base)
c) Hire a holiday caravan for the week on a site in the countryside.
d) Get a small tent and find a remote campsite.
e) Do what I did last time: use the provided hotel as a wash and brush
up/ breakfast base, and drive the car out into the country to sleep in it
(I'd also use
http://www.sitefinder.ofcom.org.uk/ to help check they're not
with 500m of a mast.)
Any thoughts or ideas would be most welcome, many thanks.
When I can afford it I'll get a small camping car, and I think will be
ideal!
I feel sure that one day we will be able to go to a website set up for
people like us looking for holidays, hotels etc. I can image a star rating
according to EMRs and EMFs and slowly build up a world-wide database and,
maybe even, hotels/resorts using their rating for marketing purposes as
awareness of electrosmog affects, and the need to be free from it to
recuperate grows :)
Won't that be nice!
Cheers
John
