f.lux
Free computer program Makes the color of your computer's display adapt to the time of day, warm at night and like sunlight during the day. It's even possible that you*re staying up too late because of your computer. You could use f.lux because it makes you sleep better, or you could just use it just because it makes your computer look better. f.lux makes your computer screen look like the room you*re in, all the time. When the sun sets, it makes your computer look like your indoor lights. In the morning, it makes things look like sunlight again. Tell f.lux what kind of lighting you have, and where you live. Then forget about it. f.lux will do the rest, automatically. _http://stereopsis.com/flux/_ (http://stereopsis.com/flux/) Immediately after downloading and then 'running' this program my eyes feel fine! I was skeptical and now am astonished. I have been reacting to my computer which has been greatly reducing how much time I can be on it and how much work/research I have been able to do . Being on the computer for too long has been causing high blood pressure as well as heart palpitations, Petite Mal seizures, blurry eyes, etc and this program seems to do away with those symptoms as well . I previously bought a computer program called Quantum Byte which for me does reduce feelings of stress, high blood pressure, reduces eye pain/strain & dry eye, seizures, etc and has really helped a lot . But I need to be on the computer for longer periods right now and the QuantumByte effect has not been enough to let me be on the computer as much as I need to be. But now I can stay on the computer as long as I need. After downloading and running the program last night , the computer desktop goes slightly pinky orange - and I found that strange at first . But after a couple of minutes it did not bother me anymore and I felt so wonderfully relaxed.. This morning it was not pinky/orange at all , but tonight it is again. But my eyes do not get tired and I am no longer reacting to the computer either. Go to _http://stereopsis.com/flux/_ (http://stereopsis.com/flux/) and download the free program COMMENT from webpage -- The 'Better Sleep Tips' page links to a free application called f.lux, that modifies the colour balance of your computer display at night to include less blue light. I've been a user of this program for around half a year, it has made a huge difference to the quality of my sleep, and I can't recommend it enough *Better Sleep Tips* page --http://www.cbc.ca/natureofthings/episode/lights-out.html blessings Shan [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] |
