Recently my friend, Anne Marie Evers, the author of the book "Affirmations,
Your Passport to Happiness", gave me a copy of her book. I knew affirmations are a good way to set goals and build confidence etc, but never realized the power behind affirmations to control electrical sensitivity symptoms. I discovered that I can instantaneously eliminate most of my ES symptoms for a period of time by using affirmations about "how great I feel". Rather than respond to the pain or nausea by saying "oh no, my ES is making me feel sick". I recognize the feeling, and tell myself "I feel great", "I am healing at an incredible rate", raise my arms in the air like I won a competition, and sometimes carry on to sing songs that go with it. It is like "laugh" therapy and instantly changes the energy in my body and difuses the pain from ES. I noticed a big change when I look in the mirror now after only two days of doing this - I seem to be smiling allot more and be more happy with myself - rather than looking at my body with depression since gives me ES pain so often. It does take some will power to carry through with it, but the results are amazing. The concept is that our subconsious accepts any thoughts whether positive or negative, and reacts robotic like following our minds instructions without any judgement, no matter what our physical body is feeling. So if one tells subconsious that you feel good, then your subconsious responds to make you feel good. If you say you feel bad, then the subconsious fires up pain and supports your position.
