I stated getting ES symptoms three years ago. These got very bad unable
to work, travelling and shopping made me ill, couldnt do very much. After a while i thought things would never improve. Well i had all of my 12 amalgam fillings removed just under three years ago. My symtoms got worse for quite a while i think the first six months must have been the worsed. Over the last six months though things have really started to improve. I am on a computer at work most of the day during the week and watch TV in the evenings and i use a mobile phone(sparingly) all with no or very few problems. I never thought i would be able to get back to this state of health and was facing quite a scary future of being broke, unable to work or go anywhere much without being ill. But thankfully that has now all changed! |

Hi Marc
I have taken a array of supplements but not done much chelation yet as this has proved too uncomfortable. I take something called Algin which seems to have been very affective in reducing toxicity and improving my overall physical state. I have also taken care with my diet cutting out sugar, caffeine, alcohol, processed foods, dairy etc and tried to eat a lot of organic vege food and drink lots of water. I am trying something called heavy metal detox at the moment so i will see how i get on with that. There is a really good site that helps with the issue of mercury toxicity http://herballure.com/ |

That's really interesting Richard, good to have such a positive testimony!
Following from Marc's comment, did you have any other related health problems like multiple chemical sensitivity, ME/CFS, or light/noise sensitivity, or was it just ES? And do you have any idea what started your ES originally? Is there any particular brand of Algin that you are taking? RH- I take natures sunshine brand. It is reported to soak up heavy metals in the gut. did you have any other related health > problems like multiple chemical sensitivity, ME/CFS, or light/noise > sensitivity, or was it just ES? And do you have any idea what started your > ES originally? I had a lot of problems with chemical sensitivities but these have also virtually gone now. I do sometimes though get bothered by perfumes or by chemicals in some fabrics when im having an off day. Didnt really have ME/CFS in any chronic way although after i had my fillings removed i was bedridden for weeks and felt tired and exhausted for months. I put this down to mercury being stirred up in the removal process which added an extra burden to my body. I did have them removed by a dentist who used a safe removal protocol. Dont know how it all started it just gradually crept up on me. I think the body burden of mercury probably tipped over into the red, so to speak which left my body unable to keep itself well. I have come to the conclusion that ES is a symptom of a something more troublesome going on under the surface such as heavy metal toxicity |

also virtually gone now. ..... I have come to the conclusion that ES is a symptom of a something more troublesome going on under the surface such as heavy metal toxicity That sounds right. It looks like when you solved the underlying cause, all the problems - MCS and ES - were related and cleared up together. Thanks for sharing this. After looking at the good results so many in this group have had after
having the mouth metal removed, I finally decided a few months ago that this was the year to start having mine done. I have some other dental work to catch up along the way, but I have 11 that need to be traded for nonmercury. However, I have one very large one in a molar, that while my dentist isn't keen on removing any not in need of replacement, I can get him to, but this. He says, as I've heard before, when it's been redone, that it's too large and the nonmetals are not strong enough. Any suggestions? I did find there is a metal combination used somewhere in Europe that is mercury free, but I didn't think to keep it at the time. Is anyone over there familiar with it? I'll probably be a year till I get to that one. Start with some little ones first. ~ Snoshoe --- In [hidden email], "Ian Kemp" <ianandsue.kemp@...> wrote: > > I had a lot of problems with chemical sensitivities but these have > also virtually gone now. ..... I had a large filling in the back that got replaced by a "bridge" or something like that, as the dentist said that a regular composite filling wouldn't hold up. Again, I think holistic dentists are more aware of the non-metal alternatives than regular dentists. Marc |
Snoshoe,
If you are going to have amalgam fillings removed it is important you go to a holistic dentist who specialises in amalgam removal and replacement. If amalgam is removed it has to be done in a carefully controlled way using rubber dams, breathing apparatus etc. Not all dentists know enough about this procedure and incorrect removal can make problems even worse. |
