electrode muscle stimulation

Mariannfm-2
Hi, I'm having physical therapy for a rotator cuff injury. After the work out, they use a TENS unit on my shoulder, stimulating the muscles with electrode pads. I was afraid of this, thinking it would really give me EMF symptoms. I've had it six times now and I've felt no EMF symptoms at all. I can tell it is doing something because I can feel the stimulation and the reacting muscles. I'm quite happy it doesn't, but can't understand it. Can anyone explain to me why that would not kick up EMF symptoms? Just curious.

Apparently there are different frequencies used... for muscle growth
it is below 10 Hz, which is down where Shumann resonances are.
This might possibly even be beneficial EMF-wise? Some units have
electronic displays etc which I'd expect some to react to negatively.

Paul Uk - I had the same with my tenosynovitis again brought on by 10yrs
of excessive computer use doing computer aided design. I had the tens
machine ie several sucker pads on my shoulder area and had no discernable
problems I can only assume that the current is DC, so not as bad as AC, and that
the power is only enough to affect subcutaneously structures such as the
very surface of the muscles the frequency output of the machine may also play
its role in that it does not hit frequencies at radiowave lengths liable to
penetrate deep into the body, also not all electrical frequencies are
biologically damaging I guess.
