elderly individuals and wireless installation

I have a 98 y.o. friend with no known sensitivity. She recently developed a skin rash and has suffered some steep cognitive decline. Obviously at this age this could happen for any number of reasons, but i just found out wireless was installed in her home not too long before the onset of these conditions. Does this pattern sound familiar to anyone?
