interesting, I thought they would have to get inside it.

I suspect that if they went inside an existing power strip and modified it, that would invalidate any safety approvals that have been done on the strip. Now, the more expensive items QP sells are (I think!) custom built. But not the power strips -- these are just commercial items that have been treated in some way. And I suspect the original item has to have a certain type of component in it (surge protector, emi filter) for the treatment to work. Marc |
I can't imagine what they could do to it externally that would change anything. Seems kind of weird to me.

Yeah, 99%+ of the population don't seem to up on Quantum physics, subatomic particles, electron alignment, etc. :-) I've heard competing companies who do something similar describe it like putting it in an MRI machine. Anyway, years ago I did a direct comparison between an untreated Power Sentry strip, and the exact same model that Quantum Products was selling. From an ES standpoint, there was an obvious difference between the two. The untreated strip actually caused side effects (much like the Stetzer and the Blue Circle Power Pillow), while the treated strip was a vast improvement over no strip at all. Marc |
Interesting.
Did you ever wonder why the stetzer products didn't agree with you? --- On Sat, 4/17/10, Marc Martin <[hidden email]> wrote: > From: Marc Martin <[hidden email]> > Subject: Re: [eSens] smelly power strips > To: [hidden email] > Date: Saturday, April 17, 2010, 10:23 AM > > I can't imagine what they could > do to it externally that would change > > anything. > Did you ever wonder why the stetzer products didn't agree with you? I just figured that the marketing hype from Furman was correct -- that the typical cheap capacitor-based shunt filters actually amplify certain frequencies while they are reducing their design frequencies. In this case, the Stetzer design frequencies are 10 - 100 khz. But there are a lot of other frequencies below and above that. Also, it has been suggested on this group that the Stetzer filters worsen the environment in their immediate vicinity, while helping downstream. So it maybe good to have them out in your garage, but you don't want them in an outlet sitting right next to you. But I try not to think about these things too much -- and just judge things based on my symptoms. Marc |
Thanks for the info. I may give the Quantum Home a tryout. I wonder though,if just keeping the Companion in my pocket all the time may be enough?

> though, if just keeping the Companion in my pocket all the time may be > enough? The problem with the Quantum Companion is that it is pretty weak. The Quantum Home and Pro run on 12 volt DC, while the Companion only has a single 1.5 volt AA battery. The supposed radius of effectiveness for the Home and Pro are probably 20-50 feet or more, while the Companion is only around 3 feet. The company tells me that some of their customers actually take a Quantum Home/Pro and a 12v battery pack and put it into a backpack to carry around with them! At the workplace, I usually use two Quantum Companions at the same time (one in each pocket). So it's all a question of strength vs. portability. Certainly if your problems are only in one or two specific locations, then the stationary solutions are probably better. But if you find yourself moving around in environments that you otherwise have no control over, then the portable solution is better than nothing. And of course there are other portable options -- as Charles has pointed out, I tend to use more than one type of product at a time... Marc |
Thanks, what are the other prtables that you'd recommend trying? I know youprobably mentioned them before but i forgot.
Also, I wonder why the Stetzer filters get such a good rep for emf reduction? Off topic, did you go to a holitstic dentist to get your Lava Crowns? I am going to go to one and get the Clifford Test. I've also heard that root canals are bad and I have one that I'm thinking of getting reversed although that means losing the tooth. --- On Sat, 4/17/10, Marc Martin <[hidden email]> wrote: > From: Marc Martin <[hidden email]> > Subject: Re: [eSens] smelly power strips > To: [hidden email] > Date: Saturday, April 17, 2010, 3:05 PM > > Thanks for the info. I vary between a Springlife Polarizer (choosecra.com), a Mega-Chi pendant (oxybliss.com), and a Personal Polarizer (cutcat.com). But that's just what works for me... > Off topic, did you go to a holitstic dentist to get your Lava Crowns? Yes, I've now got 2 of them! Marc |
I may end up with 5!
Don't know what will happen with the root canaled tooth. I may have to get it pulled and get a bridge. Just an observation from my time working in a dental office. The prepping
for a bridge very often kills a tooth putting you right back into the root canal/extraction dilemma! you mean it kills the surrounding teeth? From what I understand the bridge goes on the 2 surrounding teeth which are crowned, is this correct? Why would this kill the teeth if they are otherwise OK?
