dr. Klinghardt A.R.T. diagnostic system

johnottawa80
Hi all!
I'm looking into methods of testing/dianosis.
Just wondering whether anybody on this list has been to dr. Klinghardt or somebody else trained in his 'Autonomic Response Testing'.
If so, what did the testing reveal as the underlying cause of your eSens (or other health problems), and do you feel that the 'diagnosis' was 'correct'?

Thanks,
John.

I went to Klinghardt's clinic, and was ART tested by one of the naturopaths
that worked with him. She concluded that my electrical sensitivity was due
to the combination of EMF (duh!) and metals. Given that I am very sensitive
to metal chelators, and get ES-type symptoms when attempting to chelate,
I would say that is correct. Also, a lot of my health complaints went
away rather quickly after replacing all my metal dental work with composites.

Hi Marc,
and thanks for your reply.
Were you (muscle-) tested for supplements to detox the heavy metals?
If so, were the supplements more tolerable than what you've experienced from just trying out random metal-detox supplements?
May I also ask what metals you tested positive for?
Did you follow up with more appointments with this naturopath, or was it just the one test?

John.

Yes. At the time I tested well for DMPS, NDF, PCA-Rx, cilantro. I
tested poorly for chlorella tablets and DMSA.

Well, I find most metal-detox supplements rather intolerable, but NDF
was certainly more tolerable than most, as was cilantro. PCA-Rx was
rather intolerable when I tried it years later, and chlorella has
always been bad for me in any significant amount. And I don't have
enough experience with DMSA or DMPS to say. Really though, any
chelator is tolerable if you take it in small enough amounts. :-)

from the ART testing? I'm not sure that they tested for specific metals,
although they certainly thought it was mercury. I suspect at
Klinghardt's clinic, everyone who walks through their door is diagnosed
for mercury poisoning, whether they have it or not! :-)

At visits to other doctors, I have been tested for specific
metals, and more than once mercury and antimony have been mentioned.

I did not go back to that naturopath. She seemed competent enough, but
at the time it seemed like a long drive, and also I thought some of the
things she wanted to do to treat the mercury poisoning seemed dangerous,
plus there were a LOT of things that they wanted to do, which just
seemed to be too much hassle and expense. So I went elsewhere.

Hmmm, interesting to hear about your experience with this testing...

I suspect at

Yes, or Lyme Disease.
They didn't tell you that you had Lyme also, did they?

No, nobody has ever told me that I've had Lyme, although
I've never been tested for it either...
