Did you look on Craigslist?
I hear there's a 300SD for sale for $8000 or so at Great Little Cars
on Cerillos Rd. in Santa Fe. For that price it should be in outstanding
shape (which I'm told it is). The SD has a digital display that the 300D
does not, and an electric speedometer. Otherwise similar.
