Hello.
I'm having a problem grounding a blanket. I know. It's a little odd.
It's an afghan I made my mother knit for me (bless her soul) with
copper wire. I tried connecting it to a 3 prong extension cord just
by wrapping the wires but it didn't seem to improve conductivity.
Aaagh! SChool project. Due tomorrow.
ANyone offer any advice before I electrocute myself? I know that to
ground it, it should be connected to a pipe or something but that
doesn't seem practical for a portable blanket. Is there a way to
ground it by plugging it in? That would be most convenient.
Also, for the school show I wanted to post a link to a wiki or a blog
of best sources for information on EMF. Can I point people to this
group? Can anyone suggest their most reliable links?
any help on either issue would be of immense help.
Thanks,
tanya.
