black paint

mariposalily
Hello Everyone,

I've returned to the forum after a few years of inactivity.  Greetings.  Does anyone know of any threads or have some tips on black paint?  I'll explain my question here:

I've painted two bedrooms with black paint and grounded it successfully with the tape and grounding plate.  I have since moved, hoping the paint doesn't cause any issues with the next owner after taking the grounding plate off.  In any case, I have a new place now and I don't want to bring that paint into the house as it caused multiple carpet damage from drips and, well, let's just say it is a pain to work with and worry when you sell your place.

What I'd like to do is paint some panels outside the house.  Paint them on the back side and put the tape along them on the back side, so it's hidden, then tack up the panels with tacks or screws.  When I move, I can take the panels with me.  What do you think?

What kind of black painting are you using?

It does look like a good solution, if this black paint works (I hope it does!).

Then you don't have to be buying it all the time.

Have you ever got problem with storms and thunders (I mean, is your grounding OUTSIDE or in the socket)?

Thanks!

Hi Kira, This is just your usual carbon, /graphite paint.  I hadn't thought of lightening, but ya, there are some here, so grounding a must.  Linking the panels up in a row with the grounding tape is going to be a problem, I think.  Maybe I'll just hire a handyman.

Hey, do you feel that these paintings help you?

What's the brand of the paint?

Thank you.
