Public School Offers $86K to Keep Autistic Boy Out
By Sidney Lupkin, ABC News – September 5, 2013

"The trouble began last school year, Armstrong explained. Even though helping David eat is one of her nursing duties, she says one teacher decided to teach David table manners. David didn’t respond well because the teacher was forcing him to eat with a metal fork instead of a plastic one, Armstrong said. But they say David’s autism renders him extra sensitive to metal, and he becomes agitated by the way metal forks feel against his teeth."

i wonder what role heavy metals play in autism.

night before last i had major cramps in my ankles again,
where they swelled hugely after a heavy metal encounter
many years ago.  so i am relatively certain heavy metals
correlate with ES.  and it does seem that my intelligence
waned after that event.

From what I understand, heavy metals - particularly mercury - can cause oxidative stress.  Oxidative stress can present as uncomfortable symptoms.  I've been wondering if mercury-amalgam dental fillings have played some role in some long-term problems I've been dealing with.  I suspect that they have; they may not be the whole story, but they may be part of the puzzle - part of the "toxic load" my system has had to contend with over a lifetime.

I may not be technically autistic - but I think I have a number of things in common with people on the autism spectrum - including a sensitivity to metals.  In recent years, I've noticed a sensitivity to metals such as the metal in my eyeglasses frames.  And I believe I felt a certain physical relief when I replaced most of my underwire bras with wire-free versions (which reminds me - I need more of such bras).

As for the cause(s) of this - there are theories.  I'm not going to try to expound on all of them - my recall skills are not that great (all of the toxins and illnesses have taken a toll on my mind).  But I've been thinking of my own sensitivity to metals in terms of electrosensitivity; these metals amplify and propagate radio/microwaves (the "antenna effect") - which causes a physiological reaction.

All of this just gives me another reason to look askance at the medical industry - which routinely inserts metal parts into patients to repair bone fractures and other anatomical issues.  I guess it's a pipe dream for Big Medicine to be conscious of the fact that the increased "electro-pollution" may make metal transplants riskier than ever - especially for people who may be sensitive.  With the advances in medicine and technology - you'd think that they could do away with metallic parts and use more biologically-compatible materials for surgical repair.  In this day and age, I'd hate to be walking around with any metal screws, plates, or rods inside of me.

"Normal" people can handle a certain amount of toxic metals, and they are eliminated from the body. Except, of course overload of mercury, lead, iron, etc do cause significant problems. Autistic kids' bodies can't eliminate metals. They are high in mercury, aluminum, arsenic and others. The problem is added to by ingredients in vaccines that cripple the immune system and compromise gut function. Pesticides and EMFs make matters worse. Autistic kids who are properly chelated often regain normalcy to varying degrees. Eliminating or significantly lowering EMFs help them also. Also a significant number of autistic individuals have Lyme bacterias. Sometimes curing the Lyme also cures the autism.

With the boy who doesn't want a metal fork, it's a sensory thing, not necessarily a "metal" problem.

It's all a toxic brew.

Mercury definitely messes up the mind.

and then there's the aluminum in the air from chemtrails...
what you wrote makes me feel that his aversion to metal
eating implements might be his body saying, "no thank
you... i have too much metal already."  yes, mercury eats
brain cells.  :(

Well, why focus on chemtrails?  I assume most of my lifetime exposure to
aluminum comes from soft drink cans and anti-antiperspirants.  Maybe
even some aluminum cookware...

hmm...
marc, i don't know how you can not
include aluminum from chemtrails in a
discussion about electromagnetic
sensitivity.  seems it fits and might even
be a big part of why we are all EMS.

"Aluminum conducts electricity well (and is lightweight)
making itself ideal for uses in long distance electrical transmission."
from sam.davyson.com/as/physics/aluminium/siteus/conductivity.html‎

chemtrails are being laid down all over
the planet on a daily basis.  and
aluminum in chemtrails has something
to do with conductivity of BIG directed
energy waves.  i met a woman from
canada who was zapped IN canada on
9-11-01 and she became extremely ill.
she said she felt that she had been
cooked from the bones out.  she became
EMS.  she figured she had been in the
path of a huge electrical beam.  and
i am figuring you know about haarp,
which is located in alaska... so she
would have been between NY & AK.

i used to feel something electrically
big like that late at night in oregon
and it often seemed to precede an
earthquake down the coast in CA.

could chemtrails be a big part of why
more people are becoming EMS.  ?
seems to me it's possible.
