any good luck with grounding pole outside in urban areas?

Wondering if anyone succeeded with grounding with an outside pole in urban area. My grounding pads make things worse when plugged into a grounded outlet... wondering if outside pole would be the same...

If you feel great walking barefoot in the garden ( watch out for ticks and snakes ;) ), than i'd say just hammer a metal rod in the ground and connect it separately to the grounding pad.
On the longer run a stainless steel pipe may be best, as oxidation may insulate a bit (?).
I read that in parts of the usa the earth is used instead of the neutral line back to the power plant.
This does not sound healthy, it may create a wide field and also pollute the grounding wire.
Possible wrong wiring within the house can be checked ( supposedly ) with cheap testers.
Oh wait, you wrote : in an urban area !
This means that the ground is probably contaminated everywhere, so it will be tricky.
That is the thing with these grounding pads : in the countryside you do not really need them and in the city you better do not use them ;(.

yes, that is the problem. earth has a charge I think. electricity grounded to pipes and they have a charge, probably from earth. When I put my gaussmeter on the tub faucet there is a charge. so much for grounding around here. Only California (in the US) has a different system.

Grounding is bad.

Everywhere there is *stray Voltage* in the ground.

In a special case I have measured it in the ground, on a cable in a waterwell, and even in the air around a farm house.

Also on a gas stove; thye metal gaspipes transported the dirty frequencies.
All electricity was shut off, and the dirty frequencies came everywhere through the grounding in the wall plugs.

In another case, I found dirty frequencies in an grounding outlet in a house.
We hammered a metal rod far away in the garden, and with a cable I measured what came out of the ground.
That was even more than in the grounding outlet.
