this may be a coincidence, or not, as there seems to be a high degree of
variability in symptoms and what helps people. I had all of my amalgam fillings
removed about 10 years ago and developed elec. sens about 3 years ago, so
clearly for me at least, there are other factors involved.

Recently I tried phosphatidyl choline and it definitely seems helpful for me
(agitation, insomnia from computer/phone/vacuum cleaner, etc. use), but I
can't take it currently due to other medical problems.

Also, I've said this before, but I find strong fish oil *really* helpful (at
high doses of like 5 grams or so) for the agitation, feeling of being
overwhelmed, but also can't tolerate it right now. I have two other serious medical
conditions besides the elec sens, so others probably wouldn't have the problems
with the fish oil or phosphatidlyl choline. I feel if I could take the fish
oil, I could get rid of the agitation/insomnia from emfs. Stephanie

RH - Did you have have your fillings removed using a safe protocol?
People can be permenatly damaged with incorrect removal procedures.
Also how have you chelated the mercury from the body? You are probably
aware that mercury remains in the tissues and organs continuing to do
its damage unless something is taken to chelate it out. I have heard of
people being unwell for years after removal but quickly started to
improve when using some suitable chelation

hi. yes, I did. I have done chelation with dmsa and had periodic blood
tests to reveal a pretty rapidly decreasing mercury load. but, I must beg to
differ that one must actively chelate to remove mercury. If one stops ingesting
mercury (primarily through seafood), the body does a pretty good job of
getting rid of it by itself. Cheers : ) Stephanie

RH - There is evidence to suggest that this isnt true. Andy Cutler has
written about this issue in Amalgam Illness - Diagnosis & treatment.
The brain is one of the most difficult organs to detox and can
apparantly take a lifetime to detox if chelating agents are not taken.
DMSA is not able to pass through the blood brain barrier so cannot
chelate from the brain. Also the problem with tests for mercury levels
in the body is their isnt a reliable one. Urine, blood and hair tests
can be uselful but if the mercury is embedded in the organs and brain
the it will not show up in urine, blood or hair giving the impression
of low levels

I would suggest that most people's bodies eliminate small traces of mercury
effectively - but some do not. And those are the people who are likely to
be affected by amalgam illness. So if you're ill enough that you really
need your amalgams removed, chances are you need a good protocol to
eliminate the mercury released.
