aluminum or plastic harmful?

cartmanbaseball
I am considering trying a laptop made out of aircraft aluminum. I read somewhere that aluminum is harmful, is that true? What about plastic ABS, is that considered harmful?

Thanks...

Barry

I rekon that Essers should face the truth and limit thier exposure to
computers, wether plastic alluminium wood glass, the electronics are so leaky that
even if you sheilded all of them sucessfullly you still have the monitor
problem, how do you sheild this, I fitted a sheilded cable to a light feeding an
incandescent bulb only to realise that the bulb and holder were kicking out
efeilds like a sprinkler so I made an earthed lampsdae as a final collector of
stray electrons, an analogy came to mind here, if you repair a leaky hose you
might find that whatever is on the end fails due to the newly restored
pressure, so when sheilding a mouse dont just do the cable as you might end up
with more arriving at you hand and so on.. rambling I know

Hi, Barry,

My experience with aluminum (foil only) is it reflects some emfs and is not helpful at all with magnetic frequencies. On my laptop, I experienced alot of magnetic frequencies as well as the other electrical frequencies. I used alum foil as a shield while working on my laptop to eliminate as much emfs as possible. I also use alum foil in my car for some shielding from cell towers. We looked at a house with aluminum siding, and it caused emfs to reflect off of it outside the dwelling. I was told by an expert in this area that grounding the siding would help the emfs from entering inside the house, but I would not be able to stand between the cells and the outside siding without problems and that the alum siding would reflect the emfs back into the atmosphere. That is also my experience in my car, etc. You can shield some emfs on the other side of the aluminum (from you), but the emfs on the side you are on can in some cases be magnified.

I found recently that the climate conrol device which has a mini fan and
goodness knows whatelse sited near my head in the car (renault scenic) when
removed has meant that I can drive the car with far less irritation, in fact
having removed the offending component the change is unbelievable ! I wish I had
thought of this ages ago as I have suffered the car on so many occassions, to
the point where it has given me total body effects within 1minute and heart
palps withing 10mins, bad bad bad peice of electronics to be sited near the
head !
