aircraft radar

They've just expanded the airport here. Lately I wake up at 5am or earlier
with ears suddenly ringing, and hear large planes flying over (there's also
a military airfield 50 miles away; I haven't yet figured out what kind of
planes).

Anyone know what radar frequencies are likely to be involved? I'm thinking
they could be beyond the range of my meter.

My problem is with the TVOR at the airport. They are eventually getting rid
of it for gps, but not for a few years.

I had that ringing start about two months ago. Most often it occurs
early, early morning, then seems to stop at some point, then start
again late in the day.

I've noticed a particular couple of the private planes that fly over
give a wave going through my head, they must have some new equipment.

But the ringing in the ears is being experienced by folks nationwide
recently, and as the military has been getting more active in
testing, it may well be from that too.

Someone had mentioned to me a 15Hz? I think it was. I have no idea.
It's just annoying when it gets loud.
