Wireless Pole may be going up a few blocks from me

This is just getting ridiculous-Smart meters, now this. There is going to be a hearing and there will not be a public hearing-how nice! I guarantee it gets approved. Right smack dab in the middle of a residential street.
I am so sick of Government you have no idea

the poles hold the WAN devices that are part of the smart meter mesh system. They are wireless data collectors.

According to the notice it is for cell phones, not the smart meters.
There was a truck outside my apt. doing something up on the wires the other day. I called SDGE and they claimed they didnt have any work done there. I suspect it could be smart meter related but I don't know for sure
