Window Screens -- Metal or Non-Metal?

Hi all,

We're in the process of moving into our new house, and one of
the things we want to do is buy window screens, to keep insects
out while the windows are open. I see that I can buy screens
made out of metal (aluminum) or not (fiberglass/vinyl). Anyone
know which is better from an EMF/energy standpoint? Does the
metal screen attract outside EMF to the house, or act as a
shield, or does it make no difference to the health of the
people inside?

Thanks,

Marc

Depends on type of radiation that you are trying to ward off. Different
fabrics for different frequency ranges. They have to be hung properly ie,
maticulusly leaving no gaps according to general advice I have received, probably
most important if you reciving a direct hit from a mast. Also if you are ES
then you can react to the elec feilds that these can draw albeit minute. Try
high preformance silver mesh from less emf.

The cabin I'm in has nylon ones. They bother me, although I can't tell
you why. Maybe coated with something?

I take them down in winter, and only put up the necessary ones to keep
bugs out on windows I open.

One thing I found, that doesn't seem to bother, as there is no screen
door, A white nylon net, like from the fabric store, a large curtain of
that on an adjustable spring rod works quite well in the doorway, easy
in and out. -Although if you have pets, it may not last long. :)
It does not give me any "feeling" as the reuglar cloth screens do.
