I feel that we simply cannot stop the progress of this technology as are numbers are too few, but we could advocate for, say 4 villages in different parts of the US where we could live and in which wi fi, google loon, cell tower, driverless vehicles*, would be forbidden.  They have such a place in Russia and there are white zones in Italy.

Essentially we are asking for 'reservations' on which we could live. I think this is feasible; easy for a government to do. Wireless technology is embedded in far ranging future plans and we are extremely unlikely to be able to stop it or modify it. Even when the destructive aspects become known people are unlikely to give up their devices... So no sense on wasting energy on stopping the technology (I feel our time and energy spent on this is useless) ...but only on building refuges. Comments welcome of course. *driverless vehicles apparently emit radiation as strong as a cell tower...exceeding current standards, but no one is enforcing those standards. |

Oh, it wouldn't be difficult.  It's a matter of our government is terrified of the idea that there might be someone, somewhere, that cannot be monitored and tracked.

In most ES groups it is tacitly assumed that if we educate the public and governments on the effects of EMR that people will cut use of it, governments will regulate etc.  I think this is not the case.  Even if the destructive aspects are accurately known I feel people will continue to use and escalate their use of this.  People are that addicted and self destructive.  So our focus needs to be different:  just self preservation,

Lyn. I agree w/ everything you are saying. I have for years.  There are already safe zones in the US, but they require the hardy survivalist type and no way could a homebound or infirm live in those places. One that comes to mind is Greenbank with it's harsh winters.

There are other people trying to create safe spots, but always in the cold. The other issue is money. There are some trying to start or have started up something in a more moderate climate like AZ or CA, but takes some pretty major bucks to get in on those. I have been working on the off grid trailer project since 2014 and moved in it last Jan, but still being fried. It is so expensive, I do not have funds to stay afloat and move to a safe place both. I realize if I did not have other health issues it would be easier, but again many of us do have other health issues. It is my goal to make the movers further out and further out. The cards are so high from things like low emf solar, fuel heat, maintenance and all the other work, I could not move right now if I found a place that was safe I get sicker and I sure want to! At least I am somewhat improved over the last, but just not what I need. There needs to be some good space a couple places in each state. Yes I do think that this day and age would ve quite hard to get govts to go along w/ allowing that. The do not want to allow us even basic accommodation to avoid life threatening symptoms. The ADA just won't. It is getting worse and will get worse. We do have more chance getting a living space that curbing the tech. It just takes lots and lots of funding and those w/ ES that have that are doing their own "exclusive" stuff. I am not saying it is impossible to do and we should fight city hall for a safe place. I have felt AZ, TX would be good places to start, as they seem to be better w/ land freedom and have more low cost land. Though TX raided an off frid community recently. Other areas of the south too. The only thing is the further S.E. the more they frown on health consciousness. But then they do in AZ. It will not be long before they will arrest people around here for eating organic. They already fire people from jobs and other services for that. In that regard NM is better and has more sympathy toward healthy eating and the like, but the weather is really harsh! Though those in NM seemed more open to being sensitive to our plight rather than just to label us crazy, than AZ. |

Lynn, your assessment of the existing "pull the breaks" strategy is hard to accept but probably yields a closer estimate of results, getting people who are too far gone to stop this bio-assault.

I almost wonder if they are devising to biologically modify humans (for better or worse) to accommodate the "wireless world." But of course such advances will be too late for this generation. How would we figure out how to get the ball rolling on your idea? Who would we need to reach? Happy to help but have no idea how to! |

I think you're on to something. People are always trying to adjust the local environment to drive away people they dislike. A lot of people are passive and disconnected from their environment, and they surround themselves with in-your-face stimuli and build hierarchies based on group validation. In other contexts being alert to your surroundings is an advantage, so I think they're trying to cover for their own weakness. Notice that many complain about financial inequality while trying to exclude people in every other way. |

Lynn, I have some political connections, including one who's fairly high level (a DNC vice chair). I recently spoke to another activist about reaching out to him, but she felt too unwell to take that on. If someone else wants to have a go at it, I'd be happy to put them in touch.
