There are many types and varieties of bentonite clays. Many bentonite
clays are sodium bentonites, and some are calcium bentonites. Within
these two groups, there is a VERY wide variety of bentonite clays.
Not all bentonite clays have beneficial properties insofar as human
uses -- it all depends upon the individual bentonite clay. So, it
does not help to look for any old clay called "benotnite". My own
favorite sodium bentonite clay is Azomite (www.azomite.com) followed
by Aztec clay. My favorite calcium bentonite clay is Pascalite
(www.pascalite.com); this clay can be near-magical.
