I'm new, but here's what I've done so far (in chronological order):
- Moved my cell phone and charger out of my bedroom
- Unplugged all other chargers/power supplies each night. (Later I moved them all to different places.)
- Covered my windows with RF blocking materials (metal screen and aluminized mylar initially)
- Got rid of WiFi and cordless phones
- The electronic doorbell in my building has a softball-sized transformer. I don't own the place, so I ended up plugging a big 12V charger into a power strip so that I could turn it around and find an orientation that seemed to cancel the other one out.
- Moved all the network hardware to another part of the building (easier for me because I maintain it for the other tenants). Used DC extension cords to move the power adapters even farther away (about 60').
So far I'm having better luck with absorbent paint than with metal screen or aluminized mylar, but I know other people have the opposite experience. (I currently mix my own using latex paint and powerded graphite. I can't tell you whether it works as well as the pre-made stuff since I haven't tried both yet.)
