Using Trifield meter in the UK

alinepapille
I'm sure this question will show my ignorance but can I use my trifield
meter to read EMFs (from house wiring) in the UK?

And what about my body voltage meter? (with plug adaptor of course)

Thanks,
Aline

If its calibrated to 50hz should be fine, mine works a treat. I am selling
a Microalert 2 if anyone is interested £40.

Yes, you can.
If your trifield meter is calibrated to 50 Hz (see lable on back of unit),
you are ready to go.
If your meter is calibrated to 60 Hz, it will read low . Just multiply the
readout by 1.2 (60/50) to get the correct field strength.

Your body voltage meter should be fine... just make sure to find a safe
ground.

Is there such a thing ? time dependant.. At the moment I am trying to come
to grips with a spurious signal on my Telephone wires, also certain
pipes/rads plus incomimg mains worst of all into brickwork of house ! typical the
outer wall where my daughter sleeps closeby. Its a high frequency sound from the
AM radio tuned to 1600hz ish. It goes on for hours and then stops. It has
amazing properties to cross over into conductive materials within 600mm or so
! I have a mind to ring up the utility companies and complain since what is
coming off their wires is polluting my home ! Where to start though !
