Using AntennaSearch.com to find the cell phone towers and antennas in your area

Russ
I assume many people are familiar with the site AntennaSearch.com.  Basically it will tell you how many cell phone towers and antennas are within 4 miles of a particular street address.  You can even get details on the exact location of each tower/antenna within that 4 mile radius and it's exact distance from the address.  From this detailed data you can figure out some other things besides just the 4 mile radius counts such as how far away the closest tower/antenna is or how many are within different radiuses (1/2 mile, 1 miles, 2 miles, etc.).

Here's what I'm wondering about...when looking for a safe location, what's the most important thing to look at when it comes to cell phone towers and antenna in the area?  Is it more about the distance to the closest tower/antenna or is it more about the total number within a certain radius?  And which radius is best to use?

For example, which of these would be better...

Location A:  Closest antenna/tower about a half mile away but no others within a 2 mile radius.

Location B: Closest antenna/tower a full mile away but several at right around that 1 mile distance and many more within 2 miles.

Those are made-up examples and may not be realistic but hopefully illustrate what I'm curious about.  I guess it boils down to whether all these cell phones and antenna have a cumulative effect, in which case the total number within a radius might be more important, or if it is more about the closest one.

Thanks!
