In a bedroom, living room there is a very strong 2400mhz RF signal that spikes my coronet meter continuously. The whole living room alternates between green and yellow. Our wifi is turned off. There is a fluent wireless alarm in the home, which we turned off for testing purpose (I mean I went into the settings and found the hard power off). Remotes have had their batteries removed. When I step outside and circle the house, the reading stays green, so I'm thinking its not the neighbors wifi. There are no cordless phones. The only cell phone is in airplane mode with location services toggled off. All laptops are hard off. Does dirty electricity produce a rf reading? I would think it would only show up on the gauss or elf mode on the meter. There is a tcl roku tv in the house which I believe uses wifi to stream content. There is no ethernet port on the TV. Not sure why, maybe because of its age. We have it using internet from a USB to ethernet adapter. I just double checked near the xb6-2 xfinity router and it seems to be the culprit. I just don't understand how its still producing this high 2400mhz signal even though in our account settings the Hotspot feature is turned off (I don't see a xfinity Hotspot in list of networks on my phone). In the router settings both 2.4ghZ and 5ghz wifi is off. Should I call xfinity and make sure the Hotspot is turned off (would they admit its on) or just get a Faraday cage for the router?
