Too Close for Comfort - tons of EMF from V8 ignition distributor near driver’s seat

Environmental_Acrobat
The common sources of EMF from today’s vintage (before vehicle on board computers pre-76 on most rides) automobile are the steel belted radial tires and the engine.  I know the sources of EMF on my vintage V8 engine can be found on the distributor, ignition wires, ignition coil, battery, alternator, and sparkplug and spark plug cables.
I’m more concerned with local and close location of distributor to the driver’s seat on my specific vehicle (as seen in the picture).   My other concern is the location of the battery but will save that for another topic.  Obviously, I keep the engine cover (dog house) on except for maintenance.
I also know that a big block engine of this make keeps the distributor located at the front of the engine and much further away from the driver.  Swapping engines with lower EMF would be an option I would consider way.  For now, shielding is the best option.  Any suggestions for proper shielding?

LessEMF.com has a large assortment of MuMetal that blocks magnetic fields
and they were very helpful over the phone. Some of the products are sticky
back
for ease of application.
Since MuMetal works by pushing the magnetic field away, the fields can
spill
over the edges and I suppose testing results with gauss meter would help.
If Emil does not answer this topic, call and ask for him,
and he could probably tell you if you would get spill over,
