The eyes are the windows of the... EMF'd?!"

davidrsnell
Did an interesting experiment.

-First I wrapped several layers of carbon microwave reflecter/absorber material around the top and back of my skull.  I felt a little bit better.

Second I held the same material over just my eyes.  The improvement in how I felt was even better than the skull wrap-around, despite covering a quite small area.

Third I held a bag of licorice candy twists over my eyes.  The improvement was about three times better than the carbon material.

Fourth I covered my eyes with about 8 layers of aluminum foil.  It felt about the same as the carbon material at first, but there was a bit of a harsh aftereffect.

Experimenting with the earholes and the lower backside of the head, these don't seem to be nearly as sensitive to EMF.

So two actionable lessons:

-The eyes are indeed the window of the EMF'd, as well as the soul.  The skull somewhat protects the brain against EMF. I suppose the only time we can protect our eyes is when sleeping or napping.

-The EMF'd should perhaps consider protecting yourself with organic material.  And licorice is fairly cheap, about $2 per pound. I've used it extensively, with better success than any other material.

Nice. Also reminds me a bit of pinhole glasses (I tried them once, they really work)

To protect the whole head including my eyes, I tried sleeping with ziploc bags of organic material (licorice candy) completely draped over my head last night.  Best sleep I've had in years.

Jinna
Do you mean, you buy a big bag of licorice candies and fill a ziploc plastic bag with them? but then you have direct contact with plastic on the skin? Isn't it uncomfortable and sweaty?

Thanks.

I buy 1-pound bags of Twizzler licorice twists ($2 per bag), and tile the bags. You can lay them down over contact paper and shipping tape. Dollar Tree has cheap rolls of both.  I wear hooded clothing at night to keep the plastic off me. I protect my chest and my head massively.

But for just eye protection, you should probably buy some candy that you can mold with your hands, put in a baggie, and tape to an eye mask (which Dollar Tree probably also has.)

Thank you! I'm trying to picture you sleeping in your bed, it makes me smile!!

I also did crazy things during the time I felt really sensitive.

With all these plastic bags, doesn't it make a lot of noise in the night, when you move?

I am not sure where to find these candies here in Europe, but I'm going to look for them, just for the experiment!

So if I understood you well, you make a sort of hat with licorice candies, around a hoodie or so.

Then you also lay some on your chest and back (?).

And also on your eyes?

I don't think I will ever be able to sleep with all that, but I would like to start with the hoodie, for exampl

Your mental picture of me is fairly accurate. It's possible to put cloth around the plastic to avoid direct contact.

Jinna, here's a test you can try before buying the candies and putting it together. Sleep on your side and cup both your hands over your eyes, resting the side of one hand against the pillow while the other hand rests on that hand. The base of each hand will cover the eye socket. If you gradually feel better over the next 15-30 minutes, that's a good sign the candy protection will work for you.

I get symptoms of discomfort or pain in my abdomen, could be whichever organ is weakest at the moment.  But mostly that's a function of how much protection I'm wearing around my midsection.- A few nights ago I wrapped my neck in a leather jacket and my head in a bunch of twizzlers.  Felt really good, I'll be doing it more, maybe even every night.  Another thing I've been doing a long time every night is wrap twizzlers around my chest and stomach, backed with mylar aluminum-coated "emergency blanket".
