Yes, as someone who likes to take photos myself, I have also discovered that a number of digital cameras are intolerable for me. Even those without any wireless features. A couple of years ago, I tried about 7 different digital cameras, and rejected them all as being intolerable. However, the cameras that I had been using previously -- and continue to use -- are perfectly fine for me. These are the Nikon D5100, and the Fujifilm X100.
I'd have to do some research to come up with the full list of cameras that I tried but found to be intolerable, but they included a bunch of Nikon full-frame DSLRs (including the 10+ year old Nikon D700), and a bunch of Fujifilm "X" series cameras (including the Fujifilm X100s).
I was rather surprised to see that I can tolerate the Fujifilm X100 but not the X100s, as they are almost the same camera. Although the latter has a newer sensor and possibly more auto-focus points, which may be causing the issue. Neither has any wireless capability.
