Switched Polarity and LEDs

snoshoe_2
A few months back someone was asking about fixing people who
were "switched" when doing applied kinesiology. Besides tapping your
thymus gland, which so far has always worked when I tried it, I just
found this, that might help more difficult problems:
http://feelingfree.net/batteryproblems/polarity.htm

This I found on wiring LEDs, and thought might be useful here:
"LEDs become more conductive as they warm up, which may lead to
unstable current distribution through paralleled LEDs."

Gads, near the bottom of the same page, now I know why these bright
whites always make me feel ill:
"White LEDs are made by painting the chip of a blue LED with
fluorescent phosphors to change the spectrum of emitted light.

This graph shows the CIE chromaticity coordinates for the color of
light output by a white LED operated at four different current
levels."

Perhaps you should explain what you mean by this -- I don't see why
anything in that quoted statement would mean that white LEDs would
make you ill. The only thing I can see which might be objectionable
is the word "fluorescent", but I don't think fluorescent phosphors
have anything to do with fluorescent lights.

Yes, that is what I was referring to Marc, the fluoresence of it.
They outgass. The older LEDs, not as bright, and not white never
bothered me.
Some months back I had mentioned about some solar ones I'd bought
that made me feel ill, but didn't know why. I have two other solar
lights, with different bulbs that don't do this. DC power doesn't
generally bother me much, and using other LEDs I knew it was
something related to them.

Some fluorescent lighting bothers me much more than others, like the
power saving round ones, can make me vomit in moments.
Then the phosphorescence I really haven't looked into at this point.
I can tell you that the fluorescing glow-in-the-dark items also make
me feel ill, I feel the radiation. My daughter a number of years
back had gotten some little stars you stick on the ceiling. We were
sharing a room at the time where I was housesitting, and I could not
stand it.
