WOW! THIS is real news:
Sven Bauer: After the closure of my old position I made a detailed market research and had the chance to meet the Aaronia meters without any prejudice. In fact I am impressed by the performance of these products and what they have become ! Also the amazing software shows so many information and is very easy to use.
My new position will be a surprise for many of you, but I want to underline that I will not work against my old position or points of view, but rather for the spectrum analyzer market. This market has many new opportunities and challenges ! Each day new radio services on different frequencies are beeing used and have to be evaluated individually (f.e. SBM2008). In this fast developing and growing area you have to count on a real spectrum analysis to be able to measure each service separatly.
In this context I also want to express, that older tests" on the internet regard to old models which are no longer for sale. These tests caused a lot of confusion in our branch. A easy to understand guidebook such as which meter is good for which measurement task" would have been a much better help for the people. This will be one of my goals, to explain people how to use which technology to measure different tasks. Any new released meter needs the feedback from their users, to be able to offer improved firmwares and updates. Especially for high performance instrumentes, such as the Aaronia spectran, this is a totally normal circumstance. Naturally also Aaronia made many improvements like that and is setting now new standards. In particular the new REAL TIME spectrum analyser SPECTRAN V5" with a high resolution / full color TOUCH SCREEN, integrated GPS and a sample rate of 250 million I/Q samples, will set the benchmark on the professional meter market, and will be still available for an reasonable price !
I understand now why Aaronia was mostly active on the pro-sector in the last years.... So, now I also want to give you the chance to learn about the new Aaronia meters, and I am sure you will be impressed !
