Supplement question

Anyone try Kirkman Detox Aid? I found it looking for corn, gluten, casein free vitamins. I feel sick if I take NAC.

 contains alpha ketoglutaric
acid as a replacement for n-acetyl cysteine (NAC).  Recent scientific
information suggests  NAC may have side effects in a subset of
individuals.  Alpha ketoglutaric acid accomplishes the same functions as
NAC, but without the side effects.

RE: Supplement question

Never tried this, but it
looks to be very different then the traditional detox supps. The only way to
really find out, is by trying it.

As always, I suggest
nurturing the body with vital minerals, such as Iodine, Magnesium,

(which the body requires to
produce Gluthathione,) and supporting both the thyroid and adrenal glands, as a
working immune system is vital to the detox process.

I notice it doesn't say
"which" form of Selenium on the label. It just says Selenium chelate.

The only form that the body

will truly absorb is
L-Selenomethionine, the other is a cheaper format not bio available to the
body.

You might want to call the
company and ask them which form of Selenium they are using.
