I'm reading an informative explanation of whole food supplements & nutrition.

Anyone try Innate Response Formulas?

Yes, although I think Standard Process or Biotics Research is better...

... the problem with Innate Response is that a lot of their "food based
nutrients" are grown on various forms of fungi, and if you've got any
sort of sensitivity to fungi, you may not be able to tolerate them.

On the other hand, with Standard Process, their food-based nutrients
are actual foods (carrots, peas, etc.) that have had the water and
fiber removed.  So less likely to provoke a reaction.  Although
some people avoid Standard Process because they many of their
products contain animal parts (cow adrenals, etc.)

Thanks Marc,

I. I noticed after I sent the info

Innate requires an MD to buy them from.

The issue with growing on fungi is an issue for us.

Well, there are several brands of nutritional supplements
that are intended to be available only through medical
professionals.  Typically this will be through a
naturopath, chiropracter, nutritionist, etc.

However, in reality, anyone can get these supplements
from other places -- Amazon.com, Vitamin stores,
or websites setup by doctors who carry these
supplements for their patients.

Some of these brands are easier/harder to
find than others -- Innate is easy...  you can
buy many of their supplements on Amazon.com.
