If you want melanin, sunlight is the answer, by slowly working up the amount of time you are in the sun. Also getting more bright light during the day helps you to produce more melation at night when its dark.

EMR stops melonin is my point, in what I have explained.  If your melanin was working MWs / RFs would not penetrate you skin and effect your biology adversely.  I am not having EMR problems as I dont go in it.  Those looking for a cure should ask what they are doing that is stopping the natural solution to the problem.

This all seems remarkably obvious but no one seems to be able to GET IT! WHY?

Skin conductivity looks like the key to me.

Interesting. Melanin in the skin may help to protect against MWs/RFs? I haven't heard that before, though I think there might be something to it. It certainly reminds me that most people seem to feel and look healthier in the summer than winter. That idea that it could be the makeup of our outer layer warding off harmful elements of waves is rather difficult to grasp, but why not? Here's a thread (or should I say, post) discussing it from 2010:

Melanin evolved to protect against radiations. It does this by being very conductive.  EMRs inhibit its production.  Now we are getting zapped deeper and in an unwanted way. It explains many increasing illnesses.  Clothes protect against light but not MWs.  If we cant make melanin we are going to have to make some MW proof clothes.

Has any one found EMR clothes that are cheap and functional?

Thanks for the older link.  Brills.

Polyacetylene Conductive Polymer

http://www.quirkyscience.com/polyacetylene-conductive-polymer/

Oxidation with iodine increases conductivity of the polymer by several powers of ten. In fact, it approaches the specific electrical resistance of silver. In 2000, Shirakawa, Heeger and McDiarmid received the Nobel Price for this discovery.

Does this mean melanin can work better with iodine?  If this is our bio defense then iodine might improve it.

Has any one tried iodine supplements?

What happens when you are low on iodine?
Hypothyroidism (see symptoms below) can be caused by a lack of iodine in the diet, which prevents the thyroid from making enough of the necessary hormones. Iodine deficiency is the single most common cause of preventable mental retardation and brain damage in the world.

Hypothyroidism  is commonly associated with EMR.

Has any one read research / experience in this area? It has become epidemic very recently.

What Is Nascent Iodine?

https://www.globalhealingcenter.com/natural-health/what-is-nascent-iodine/

Nascent iodine is a supplemental form of iodine. Iodine is an essential mineral that the body requires for normal function.[1] For nearly a century, nascent iodine has been regarded as a more effective form of the mineral than many dietary iodine forms, such as potassium iodide. In fact, most forms of dietary iodine become mere iodide in the digestive tract.[2] This is important to note because iodides are not as easily absorbed and utilized by the body, meaning that iodine-dependent organs and processes may not be adequately supported.[3] This is what makes nascent iodine such a popular form of iodine for supplementation. A defining characteristic of nascent iodine is that it is an atomic form of iodine with an incomplete number of electrons. This gives it an electromagnetic charge. It is also why nascent iodine is sometimes referred to as atomic iodine, monatomic iodine, or atomidine.

Iodine deficiency resulting in goiter occurs in 187 million people globally as of 2010 (2.7% of the population)

It is also heavily implicated in the endocrine disruption illnesses   or stopping them happening.

Has any one tried iodine?  Any help?   Can it bring back our natural melanin conductivity that can protect us?

In a study of the United Kingdom published in 2011, almost 70% of test subjects were found to be iodine deficient.[31] The study's authors suggested an investigation regarding "evidence-based recommendations for iodine supplementation"

Scientists James Feyrer, Dimitra Politi, and David N. Weil have found in the U.S. that the proliferation of iodized salt increased IQ by 15 points in some areas.

Well, for every day for at least the past 10 years, I've taken 2000% of the
RDA of iodine.  And certainly while I think it's helpful to some degree, I
don't consider it a cure for ES.

How much iodine is too much?
The US recommended daily intake of iodine is 150 micrograms (mcg) per day for most adults, and about twice that for pregnant and nursing women. This level of iodine intake prevents goiter, mental retardation, and all the associated problems with iodine deficiency.

Symptoms of iodine poisoning include:

    Abdominal pain.
    Coughing.
    Delirium.
    Diarrhea, sometimes bloody.
    Fever.
    Gum and tooth soreness.
    Loss of appetite.
    Metallic taste in mouth.

I hope you aint got none of that then!!!!

I know we are bad at absorbing it.

Risk factors

Following is a list of potential risk factors that may lead to iodine deficiency:[17]

    Low dietary iodine
    Selenium deficiency
    Pregnancy
                                        Exposure to radiation

Increased intake/plasma levels of goitrogens, such as calcium
    Gender (higher occurrence in women)
    Smoking tobacco
    Alcohol (reduced prevalence in users)
Oral contraceptives (reduced prevalence in users)
    Perchlorates
    Thiocyanates
Age (for different types of iodine deficiency at different ages)

Could exposure to rads  be causing EHS by creating iodine dysfunction loops?

 Should science investigate this??

Has our biology learned to use iodine and acetylene together?

Can iodine  acetylene be a natural means to protect against rads? The human race would seem to need it.

No, I'm not getting any symptoms of iodine poisoning... there are some people who say that the recommended amounts of iodine are way too low, and instead of 0.150mg of iodine per day, people should be taking much more than that.  I think there are companies that manufacture 12mg and 50mg iodine pills, which is way more than I'm taking.  I'm only taking 3mg per day, which is supposedly much less than the average Japanese person gets from eating seaweed in their meals.

Have you a sense of how quick it works. How well it works?  In France there have been a number of TV shows about how serious this problem is now in the EU.   Modern diet and  crap food.  Endocrine disruption seems to be a very serious problem now with fluorine chlorine and bromine being in the firing line.

I wonder if EHS might turn out to be a systemic endocrine dysfunction. Its not easy to absorb iodine especially for those with this problem perhaps.  It does tie together beautifully.  EMRs buggering melanin iodine and ultimately us.

It’s also known to those who practice natural medicine that the sun can cure a lot of problems. There are many benefits of getting a good dose of daily sun. Tanning by use of the sun is something I have been doing whenever I can in the spring and summer. Even when I lived in a super high EMF environment I was able to tan okay but it might have taken longer, so there was still melanin being produced. I seem to tan a little easier now in a low emf environment. It never occurred to me that a healthy tan/melanin could be protective against emfs, even a little. I know the sun is really good for your bones and teeth and can even help with strengthening muscles and the list goes on, so I will just take it as another added benefit :) Gotta get out in the sun! :)

The Sun is  very powerful source of radiations.  It is the BASIS for standard for limits to all our exposures. Thermal heating. Sadly cos they were religious nut cases they thought all radiations were the same. We evolved in light but no other sources. Billions of years of trial and death made us resistant to light. Skin is highly conductive or was. Designed to short light frequencies. We have no evolutionary protections against these new frequencies.  They short into our bodies far deeper and over longer distances making complex changes to the functioning of our electro biology.
Light from the sun is intense but not penetrating.  Wifi is feeble but goes in 10cm. Radio will go through you and will short in mad patterns. Modulated signals will act even madder.  Science has tried to ignore all this as it is on the take to shut up. Doctors are making a fortune by shutting their mouths and forgetting their code of ethics and benefiting from watching people die avoidably.  It is called DEMOCIDE.

I would be a bit careful as the only thing conductive in their recipe is possibly Silver Colloid and iron.  The rest will block light but not other frequencies that I know off.  X-rays will need something totally different, MASS.
I like the fact they are looking. I hope they can get it right.
I fancy rubbing graphite all over but its a bit messy. I might get arrested in France. I wish I was  African.

"Without wearing a mylar suit all the time".... it takes more than Mylar.  Its not very good at all.  That mesh from China is properly effective. Have you tried that stuff?  I have ordered a load more but it has not arrived yet.  I want to be able to work the music festivals again. Thats where I spent most of my life but find the mobiles too much now.  Its hardly noticeable and blocks all but light and X-rays. It is my No1 hope at the moment for when I have to go in the MWs.  It blocks radio totally too. I am going to do a TETRA test soon.

This mesh is see through, does not fall apart and seems the answer to most of my problems.  I hope it might solve some of yours too.   It glues and sews.  Brill stuff. £13.30 for a huge sheet. Buy more and they give extra.  Sorted.

Skin resistance protects the body from electricity

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2763825/

The body has resistance to current flow. More than 99% of the body's resistance to electric current flow is at the skin. Resistance is measured in ohms. A calloused, dry hand may have more than 100,000 Ω because of a thick outer layer of dead cells in the stratum corneum. The internal body resistance is about 300 Ω, being related to the wet, relatively salty tissues beneath the skin. The skin resistance can be effectively bypassed if there is skin breakdown from high voltage, a cut, a deep abrasion, or immersion in water (Table (Table2).2). The skin acts like an electrical device such as a capacitor in that it allows more current to flow if a voltage is changing rapidly.
