Hi People,
One thing I've come across that I haven't seen on this site...is the subject of: SUMP PUMPS!
Many basements have these pumps, which are usually automatic, they run on electricity,
and in rainy, wet weather, they are ON most of the time.
Any information you guys/girls can offer?
I"m fairly certain mine is a centrifugal pump, that does NOT have variable speed motor,
of which are said to bother some ES people. I've looked at back up systems that either
run on battery or city water....not the greatest reviews.
Mine bothers me...I can turn off just about everything else...but if I turn OFF the sump pump-
with this much rainy weather....my basement will flood!
