Still working

Lily
Hi Giles,

Yes, I am still working. I have no choice!
ES not regarded as a disability in the US!

I am a mobile notary. Started out with a cell
phone with an ear bud and a wire, but had to
give it up after 1 1/2 years when I started getting
head pains behind the ear bud.

Now I use a one-way pager, and public phones
(which are an endangered species), which
compromises my business opportunities.

Also am a massage therapist, and an Emotional
Freedom Technique practitioner.

Have been gulping down my Green Gunk drinks
for a couple of years, with raw garlic, ginger,
toward detoxing. Better, more to go.

Good to know you are getting better!

Were you hypersensitive to wii and cells?

Best,

Latifah

PUK Replies - ES is not regarded as a disability here as such either,
although my DR has signed me off as ES so that I claim employement and support
allowance, I am a degree educated Building Surveyor but alas I cant use
computers and mobiles and do the office thing for obvious reasons so I am stuck
in limbo as to what I should do for the rest of my life ? I bounced around
the bottom for some 5yrs struggling with the ES in office environments and
eventually I had to concede that my mental and physical well being needed
greater protection, I started finding part timme work for a while which
paid very well but gradually that has tailed off to nothing, I tried to be up
front about my ES to many recruitment agencies, but that was a big mistake
as I am now quite clearly blacklisted in some way !! Devil you do devil you
dont ! I have sucessfully brought a claim against a former large corp
employer who sacked me a few yrs ago on the basis that it was disability
discrimination, but I think they just gave in as they did not want to push it
into the public arena.
