According to Furman's literature, some of
cheaper noise filtering technologies may reduce the noise in
one set of frequencies, while significantly boosting the
noise on other sets of frequencies. The Stetzer filters
are supposed to work "best" from 4khz - 100khz, which makes
me wonder what they are doing outside of that range...

Well, that is the first time I have heard that, and I wish I had known it before I
spent $$$$ on the meter and filters. I'm not sure I would have taken a chance.
And it is the oddest thing. When I installed the meters, I began having an
ice pick like jabbing pain in the right side of my head at the hairline on a line
with the outside of my right eyebrow. I thought it was coincidence....now I
wonder.
