I know they didn't help Marc but i was wondering if anyone else has tried these? I would be surprised if no one has since they seem to be the standardremedy for dirty electricity.

That's a good thing! I kind of want to try them but not sure to go this route or quantum. I ended up returning the quantum strips/outlets because I was allergic to the plastic of some of them and they all had perfume on them for some reason.

They are using different products now. I had no problem with the plastic from the 3 outlet minimax but the 5 outlet stunk as did the belkin strip. Theentire box smelled like perfume and I have MCS so back everything went!
I would try the 3 outlet again but only if it were packaged smell free. I tried airing them out but it didnt work. However, I'm thinking if I try the Quantum Home perhaps I won't need the 3 outlet. I do notice that my fridge is making noises again plugged into a generic surge suppressor outlet thingy so I may get a 3 outlet just for that. --- On Fri, 4/16/10, Marc Martin <[hidden email]> wrote: > From: Marc Martin <[hidden email]> > Subject: Re: [eSens] Stetzer Filters > To: [hidden email] > Date: Friday, April 16, 2010, 3:32 PM > > That's a good thing! I'm not very MCS, but rinsing in ethanol (Everclear) is a good
approach for many things. Be careful, Everclear is rather explosive if lit or near a spark. If you can't get that, maybe the strongest vodka or rum you can get? I just tested a couple filters. The Stetzer meter is a tougher test than the Entech. But neither is as tough as an AM radio (in this case, the old-style RadioShack tuned to the highest AM frequency was more sensitive than the newer one tuned to the lowest (where I've found it to be most sensitive). A 100dB military filter blocked the TV from both meters, but not from the old radio (probably due to common mode... maybe if I had an RF ground connected to the filter that would solve it).
