Have any of you installed the Stetzer Filters and what benefits have
you noticed? Thank you.

We've installed Stetzer filters in our office and home. We have
also used an oscilloscope to "see" the difference on the 60-Hz sine
wave before and after the installation of the filters.

They work. They reduce or eliminate the RF spikes on the electrical
wiring.

Whether the claims that people suffer less blood glucose problems
or headaches, or that children learn better has been claimed, but
we are still hoping for a good biomarker to prove this.

Martin Graham and Dave Stetzer are credible and honest people..
and their product does filter out RF on electrical systems.

You can also buy a "Power Sentry" surge protector that is reported
to contain an RF filter. These are the traditional "plug-ins" and cost
far less than the Stetzer filters. We have not tested them with the
oscilloscope
however.

The website for the power sentry is www.powersentry.com

It is very likely that properly designed filters would effectively eliminate
(filter out) frequencies and disturbancies other than 50/60 Hz sine power
frequency...

But my (probably previously missformulated but still unanswered) question is
why should we expect that such filtering would be of any practical help!?

I have several reasons to doubt that, but I am ready to be assured the
opposite:

- I have never measured anything relevant coming out a home installation.
It is completely different when you measure (as I understand Cindy Sage did)
what is within wire (or coupled, very near), and when you measure the effect
of those currents to the surrounding environment!

- If an oscilloscope (or a spectral analizer) is used to monitor the fields
that impregnate any urban environment (by connecting oscilloscope to some
handy antenna), there is a great number of signals (broadcasting, Dect,
mobile phone masts) that are (generally) overhelming any radiation that
might "leak" from home power instalation. The only strong signal that comes
from installation is power frequency.

- Even if principaly we let the hypothesis that dirty power from wires
somehow afflicts us through any unmeasurable field aspects (like
"longitudinal waves" or whatever), still we have to explain why are we
immune to such aspects coming out of street instalation and the
neighbourhood, which are impossible to filter!

I found that such filtering was of immense practical help. Although I
did not use the Stetzer filters, I used the Quantum power strip, which
also claimed as it's only function to be filtering out the high frequency
noise in the electricity. This enabled me to return to my job after
being unable to go into the building for 10 months!

I think it's not important to eliminate all such noise from all sources,
but to merely reduce the total amount of exposure you get each day.
So if you reduce the exposure you get in your house or in your
workplace, then you will be able to tolerate the remaining exposure
better.

Marc, Cyndy started this thread from purely exact (measurable) point of
view.

I am aware that such thing as Power Strip could work. But the other thing is
possible explanation.

I insist that if we talk about physical aspects, than we need to be
consequent. Particularly, even if the Power Strip somehow filters all the
(measurable!) dirty power (although I could bet it doesn't), that won't
change the measurable radition in the building much. It is really usefull to
diminish radiation even partially, but the HF part that comes from wires out
is miserable compared to total radiation at the place.

Tottaly different thing is if we say that Power Strip does "something" with
the dirty power, and that that "something" is very helpfull to us. (We'd
than better not mention dirty power at all!)

Anyway, we already mostly agreed on it but unfortunattely Cindy is not here
any more to tell us her view, as she apparently is concerned just with
physical aspect...
