Smart meters

KathyB

I'm sorry to bring this up, but I helped someone avoid a smart meter.
The electric co. came to put one in, in today in the
state of TX.  They refused. They were told the same odd story, you have
no choice in the matter.

They called the electric. co &
mentioned someone in the family having a  health issue, that would
exempt them. They talked to supervisor's at the PSC & electric co.
that  said

those w certain health issues are exempt. It was good to hear this progress.

She
drafted a letter of their conversation as a precaution & sent it certified w a copy to their attorney..I advised them to lock up their meter &
 put  a  letter on it.
Be on the lookout in TX.

Hi,

Can you tell us which "health issues" are exempted?

Thanks!
