This posting is to advise the citizens of Arizona that there have been no studies conducted as to the health and safety issues to human and animal life prior to installation deployment of APS Smart Meters. Across the nation people are protesting their installation because where they have been installed, people have reported many health problems with the source being from the smart meter. Call to complain to APS they will tell you you must have the smart meter installed or you will have no electricity. Call to complain to the governors office and they will connect you with the Attorney General's office who will refer you to the Arizona Corporation Commission who will take your complaint and forward it to APS. I urge you to call for yourself and see - ask the Arizona Corporation commission if there have been any tests or studies conducted to assure these devices are safe to install on the walls of our homes. I was told "No, there have been no such
 studies." I inquired, "Then we are being used as guinea pigs?" The reply was answered with a question "I don't know, are you being used as guinea pigs?" Appalled, I hung up and ask to speak to that person's supervisor. She said she did not know if there had been any studies conducted as to whether or not the smart meters were safe for humans and she would look into the matter and get back with me. That was yesterday morning. Yesterday afternoon I followed up with another question (to her voice mail as she did not answer) "Why would the AZCC allow the installation of the smart meter without first testing it's safety to human health?" Look on the internet to see the many reports of fires and negative health affects the smart meter has had to people who have already suffered various health problems and that installations were stopped in communities that have suffered the negative consequences from the smart meter. Call the AZCC and ask them for yourself.
 We are being used as guinea pigs. They all have the initial same response - "Your cell phone transmits the same harmful carcinogens as the smart meter." Yes, but we have the choice as to buying or not buying a cell phone, we have a choice how often we want to use that cell phone, and we have the choice where we want to keep the cell phone in relation to proximity to our body. We are not being given a choice with the smart meter. It is mandatory...as in communist.

Yes, this is an EXTREMELY dangerous program for people with Electrical Sensitivity.  In fact, I signed up for this group because of my sudden health problems (along with some of my animals)that started THE DAY they installed the meter.  I discovered my sensitivity to Radio Frequency several years ago when I stupidly installed a DECT phone system in my business.  I have owned a Natural Foods Store for 25 years and am used to solving my health problems naturally but my symptoms were so bizzare that I was completely baffled.  I was having extreme bradycardia (low pulse rate) in the low 40's, extreme exhaustion, extremely hot and DARK grey feet.  It was a very scary prospect each night when I would lay down to go to sleep because as I would begin to fall asleep it felt like my heart would stop beating all together!  Each beat would be a loud thud that would reverberate through my body.  After finally discovering what was going on and getting rid the phone system I got a lot better but still remained sensitive to other wireless devices surrounding me at work so I decided to start working from home so that I could control my exposure to RF.  After doing so my health returned and was back to my normal 100% HEALTHY & ENERGETIC self again.  That all changed the day they installed the new meter.  Again, it took me a couple of weeks to put it all together since I had no idea that they were utilizing RF for these meters until I did some digging around on the internet.  Now, I'm on a mission to find some solutions.  My head is spinning as I write but I am determined to find some answers and regain my health.  As a side note, I have also had a very large increase in bizzare symptoms in my customers and employees.  Rashes, elevated BP, shingles, bleeding nose, uncontrolable anger  - and these people have been my customers for many years!  I know their health issues very well and all of this happened within a months time!  I find it very disturbing that we have no say in the matter.  They are installing them in China, India, Britain and the US.  I don't want to wear out my welcome on this board by rambling on, but if ya'll are interested I can post some of the information I've found online concerning the matter.  Just let me know and I would be happy to oblige!   ~Laurie

Yes those smart meters are very dangerous & will cause lots of disability.  I am spreading
awareness as much as I can about it.

Dear All,
I think we need to find a way to tell the world at large that they need to stop using new math. We are WAY more then 3 percent of the population! We need to figure out a way to get our actual numbers known....specifically, to unite in such a way to be able to tabulate the real numbers of people out there/out here who are sensitive. If you add the numbers of sensitive people before the smart meter catastrphe and the numbers added because of smart meters.........I think the numbers are going to be FAR, FAR HIGHER!
And it seems to me, that if people can't smoke in a restaurant, then WE should have places that are RF free too! Maybe a class action lawsuit.........we are being discriminated against!

Welcome, smart meters are terrible. You're lucky you to know how it was before it was in. We were the 1st state, been here since 97. Didn't feel it until cell emf's got stronger.
We're just the one's who figured it out. A relative shared a friend after living in an apt. near a cell tower 2 yrs,  now has Alzheimers. I bought a DECT by mistake & got rid of it too.

 I wonder how the employees & their families handle them? I met a nice service tech -won't say from where - told me he's sensitive. Removed his filings, took of more metals,  to handle the job. His ears rang more in our house.

Our old house was small but built w the meters away from bedrooms on the back.

I found out about it from buying the wrong house w meters on 4 sides.  Besides aluminum wiring.The neighbor's  gas meter is pointing at our garage.   Another outside the bedroom window.  Our gas meters outside the kitchen window.  The water digital meter the co. says is not am AMR is in on the front of the house. My heart rate is low too. I had shingles too. I blamed more vaccines, but this frequency is not good for anyone.


 We deserve the right to live without those if we choose. Anyone have a form letter. We won't get it done w/o fighting.

And it seems to me, that if people can't smoke in a restaurant, then WE should have places that are RF free too! Maybe a class action lawsuit.........we are being discriminated against!

I felt a sandpaper feeling on my head starting in 05 when the gas. co. installed the final insult.

Sleeping in that bedroom was a nightmare that turned into shingles. My ears rang loud & couldn't figure it out, then boom nerve pain.

I don't have the meters most of you do. Has anyone had the courage to measure under the utility poles that collect?

Hi, Lizzie,

It is estimated that 22 to 24 % of the population has a tight junction permeability gene.  Since emfs seem to open these tight junctions, then it is highly likely that AT LEAST that many can be affected, but it is probably not as straight forward as that.  My last post about celiac disease explains it takes a CD gene + a TJ permeability gene + gluten to produce celiac disease.  It is likely to take a TJ permeability gene + a sensitizing toxin + emfs to produce ES, but it also could take one or more genes added to that, as well.  But even so, I think people react to emfs in more ways than just tight junction / ion channel effects.  I think it is likely to effect everyone at some level, man or beast.  People just are not aware of it because we have been slowly immersed in it. 

For instance, how often is diabetes or one's eating habits affected by ES?  Does anybody know?  I know it happens for me personally.  Whether that is a direct result of tight junction opening is not knowable--I assume it is because I already know I have the gene; but it is entirely possible it is affecting my diabetes by entirely other means.  One way it has affected me is by making me crave sweets; I know this now since I have moved.  In my one house I crave, in the other I don't.  But how many diabetics are going to be able to put 2 + 2 together and realize cravings can be due to emfs???  Not many, unfortunately.  Emfs also affect my diabetes by directly raising my blood sugar via affecting my autonomic nervous system.  (This is probably why I crave in one house and not the other.)  But even I was not consciously aware this was going on for years, and I am very ES-aware.

I think it is likely that emfs affect everybody in some small way.
