Tuesday JULY 20 at NOON -MARCH ON CPUC with SIGNS! 505 Van Ness Ave. San Francisco! PLEASE JOIN US!

Dear Friends,

Please mark your calendars.

We will march on the CPUC Building at 505 Van Ness Avenue in San Francisco on Tuesday July 20th at Noon, PLEASE WEAR RED IF YOU CAN TO SIGNIFY STOPPING THE CPUC FROM PROCEEDING WITH A POORLY THOUGHT OUT PLAN.

We are hoping to gather 50-100 strong with BIG BOLD signs and messaging to let the CPUC know that every community in our state will not be their guinea pigs.

We want to gather representatives from as many NGO's as we can and as many companies representing a diverse collective of constituents. One by one ourcities are stepping forward to JUST SAY NO. Fairfax had a brilliant presentation last night by Councilmember Larry Bragman and unanimously said NO toSmart Meters in their community. Let's keep building the momentum. Let's bring out the press and let the everyone know what PG+E has in store. Please let me know if you will join us. RSVP to me or to [hidden email]. Hope to see you there.

Thanks, Judi

BAY AREA COMMUNITY MEMBERS SAY NO TO THE INSTALLATION OF SMART METERS UNTILTHEY ARE PROVEN SAFE FOR HUMAN HEALTH

Tuesday July 20 at Noon

Who: The community members of Marin, San Francisco, Sonoma, Alameda, San Mateo, and Santa Cruz counties.

What: A lunchtime protest demanding a moratorium on Smart Meters until there is scientific proof that the Radio Frequency Radiation (RFR) emitted by Smart Meters has no impact on human heath.

When: Tuesday July 20th at Noon

Where: Steps of the CPUC Building • 505 Van Ness Avenue • San Francisco

Why: Constant Radio Frequency Radiation (RFR) emitted by Smart Meters from every house, apartment and business will add an additional layer of manmadeRFR to our environment. Insufficient testing has been done to evaluate theadverse health effects. No FCC Safety Standards exist for chronic long-term exposure to RFR. The CPUC should consider other ways of approaching this issue. Germany is doing a similar upgrade using fiber optics, a much safer, healthier option.
