Small amounts of metal on backpacks, etc.?

R. Ticle
So I know that the less metal we have around ourselves (that is, close to the body), generally the better.  I already carry a backpack with metal init; stainless steel water bottles, aluminum flashlight, small things like tweezers, knife, nail clippers, etc....

Given that, should I be at all concerned about a pack with metal componentsin the straps, such as metal sliders/buckles that the straps pass through?

I'm considering a backpack, but it has metal 3-bar sliders the compression straps and shoulder strap adjusters pass through.  My main concern was that two of them are up high on the shoulder straps, near chest level, and some more are on other straps which compress the bag.

Sorry if this is a silly question, but should I even be worried about this bit of metal if I already carry metal things with me?

Cheers

PUK replies - probably only a problem in very highly irradiated areas, more
likely to get a localised skin reaction from the small metal parts than
anything deeper, so it may be a red herring, suck it and see !

Cheers,

I'm probably worrying needlessly, given the amount of metal I carry anyway as far as daily essentials go; can't say I've gotten skin reactions going by towers as it is, so I'm probably good! You know what it's like, wonderingabout every little thing.  Thanks!
